As such, here is my policy for sponsorships and other business opportunities on RebeccaKelsey.com.

When I have received a product for free and I use it on my blog, I disclose this by saying “courtesy of” “gifted from” or “c/o” next to the first time I mention that product in the post. Just because I received a product for free, that does not mean that my opinion has swayed in any way. When I am given the opportunity to try a product I let the company know upfront that I do not guarantee product placement. So when you see the above disclaimers, you know that the product in question met my standards. You will also know that a post involves a product placement if it has this button at the top of the post:
When I have been paid to do a blog post or a video, that does not mean what I say in the blog post or video is a lie. I try out the product first and if it meets my standards, then I let the brand know that I will accept their compensation. I do not immediately agree to work with a company just because they offered me compensation, I have pretty high standards. These kind of relationships will be apparent to you if in the post I will list one of the tags as “Sponsored” and at the top of the post you will see this button:
Lastly, I (more often then not) use affiliate links to talk about products I enjoy. You reserve the right to not click on product links in my blog posts and instead search for the products yourself online. However, know that if you do click and purchase from the links on RebeccaKelsey.com, you are helping support the site. For that, I am very grateful. You will know that a post contains an affiliate link if it has the following button:
No disclaimer will be shown if there is no affiliate links or if I purchased the product myself.
