After seeing a Pinterest post on how to stop suction with trash bags and trash cans it sparked an idea. Could this work for other products? Sure, suction isn’t the exact problem I was having but I gave it a shot anyway because I like trying new DIY projects.
Whenever my Organix conditioners (my favorites: Biotin and Collagen, Vanilla Silk, and Keratin Therapy) start to run out of product I’ll take off the cap and tap it into my hand so I can get the product from the side of the bottle. This process generally works but often I hurt my hand because of how hard I have to hit the bottle to get the extra product out.
So, I took a scissor and stabbed the bottle. Just one tiny hole. That’s it! When I tapped the bottle into my hand afterward there was much less pressure in the bottle so I got a ton of product out with a little tap. Problem solved! Now I can save some money and get a lot more uses out of my products by getting all the left over conditioner from the sides of my bottles (without hurting my hands).

Lately it has been very difficult to find the time to exercise…. Well, technically I can find an hour or so but it has been hard to convince myself that I shouldn’t be having Charmed marathons on Netflix instead.
While I’m working on getting myself back into a fitness routine I’ve started to add in small lifestyle changes that will help keep my physique.
More details and examples are in the video above but here is the basics of the fitness suggestions:
Work out your legs while doing things like getting ice and water (or also while in the shower)
Do jumping jacks or run in place while using the microwave
Park far away when you go shopping (Thanks Shay Carl for the motivation)
Take the stairs if you need to go up three floors or less
Work out your abs with Blogilates ABC Abs while watching TV, YouTube videos, or listening to podcasts
