Happy weekend!

It’s time for the The Rebecca and Chris Show. If you’d like to see these vlogs before they premier on my blog, subscribe to my fiance’ and I’s YouTube channel drhappen (Standing for Daily Random Happenstance)

Last week we spent a lot of time just running errands and doing things that needed to be done around the house, like organizing. I’m really big on organizing lately! Chris and I also filmed a lot of videos (I’ll be guest starring on his gaming channel again soon) in advance since we’ve had less time lately.

QOTV: Do you celebrate any anniversaries (other than dating/wedding ones)?

Chris celebrates a lot of anniversaries like from his favorite video games and movies (as I’m writing this he is showing me a lot of Star Wars behind the scenes for Star Wars Day) but I’ve never been one to celebrate things other then our anniversary.

A New Month

May 1, 2013

in My Journal

Hello May

Nothing is more exciting to me than the start of a new month. New opportunity awaits! I know it technically awaits every day but the start of a new month always seems symbolic to me.

The above images were found when I was searching for content for girl-karma’s Tumblr page (we post Morning Inspirations and Afternoon Smiles every day, by the way) so let me know if you know the original sources. This collage is now on my computer desktop as well. I feel hope when I stare at it.

The last day of April

Here we have a sunset shot taken on the last day of April while I was running errands. I usually run my errands as soon as I’m done with work (5 PM most days) but I had a late start and didn’t get out until 7 PM. I’m really glad I slept in because being out to see the last sunset of April 2013 really moved me.

May will bring some exciting adventures for Chris and I. I just know it.

Happy weekend!

It’s time for the The Rebecca and Chris Show. If you’d like to see these vlogs before they premier on my blog, subscribe to my fiance’ and I’s YouTube channel drhappen (Standing for Daily Random Happenstance). We upload a vlog every Saturday.

Last week we were all pretty stressed out so there wasn’t much footage (again). We’ve actually decided to temporarily upload only one episode a week instead of twice so we can take some time to relax more. Don’t worry though, when we go to Disney in the end of May we are going to daily vlog the experience and film some of the shows. I’m really excited! Our vacation vlogs are always our favorite to edit. Let’s hope that next week is more productive and positive!

Pinky at eight years old, Xiomy at one year.

Did you know we almost didn’t get Xiomy? We have always had smaller dogs and weren’t sure a bigger dog would really fit our family. It took us a long time to even consider getting another dog after the passing of Lassie and Maxine (our sheltie and pomeranian) but after seeing the cuteness that was baby Xiomy (see our first vlog with her), we couldn’t resist.

Thinking that we almost didn’t get her makes me so sad! I’m really happy we took a chance on her, she has brought us all so much joy.

Check out Xiomy’s birthday party last month.
