Happiness is like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger it will be. Once you start to notice happiness in your everyday life then you will see that happiness more often.
I thought it was time to add another entry into my 100+ Reasons to be Happy series but this time in video. I recorded the things that made me happy and presented them for you to see.
Tell me what makes you happy! We all need a little happiness inspiration every now and again. Don’t forget to check out more reasons to be happy.
Happy Mother’s Day! I don’t have a particular post this year to commemorate the holiday but I will be sharing what I made for my Mom and Grandmother later on in the week so stay tuned.
This week we went through how Chris is making some changes in his life including his hair, beard, and diet. We also celebrating Star Wars Day! The rest of the time we spent working.
My fiance Chris adorably celebrates multiple anniversaries. It isn’t just the simple ones like when we started dating. He also celebrates the anniversaries of his favorite movies and video games. Later in May is the 30 year anniversary of Return of the Jedi. Since May 4th was Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you!) we did some fun activities in honor of one of Chris’ favorite movies.
Pinky and Xiomy were super interested in the movie… Xiomy actually does watch TV sometimes, it’s pretty funny.
First on the menu was ordering Pizza Hut for during the movie. Chris insisted on calling it Pizza the Hut.
After we were done eating pizza we made Wookie Cookies (basically chocolate chip cookies with cinnamon). Our Star Wars cookbook came up with adorable cookie cutters but our cookies were too sticky to use them.
Pizza and cookies is definitely not a healthy option (we consider this a YOLO meal) but it was a lot of fun. After seeing the movie Chris showed me a lot of the behind the scenes features from our Blu-ray and some fun Star Wars parodies.
We’ve actually participated in a lot of Star Wars events (shown through our vlogs) the past few years and we’ll be going to Star Wars Weekends again this year in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I’m actually starting to become a geek by association, it’s pretty funny all the random Star Wars facts I’ve got in my head.
Do you celebrate anything out of the ordinary? What random holidays do you celebrate?
Last week we spent a lot of time just running errands and doing things that needed to be done around the house, like organizing. I’m really big on organizing lately! Chris and I also filmed a lot of videos (I’ll be guest starring on his gaming channel again soon) in advance since we’ve had less time lately.
QOTV: Do you celebrate any anniversaries (other than dating/wedding ones)?
Chris celebrates a lot of anniversaries like from his favorite video games and movies (as I’m writing this he is showing me a lot of Star Wars behind the scenes for Star Wars Day) but I’ve never been one to celebrate things other then our anniversary.
