Learning to Live Minimally: September Empties 2012

September 24, 2012

in Beauty, Lifestyle

Another month bites the dust!

Every month I work on finishing up as many products as possible so I can get my junk level down to zero and have only the best of the best beauty products. Shopping in bulk is a really hard habit for me to break! Check out the idea behind my Learning to Live Minimally Resolution here

How did I do this month? I kept beauty shopping down pretty well but I did buy a lot of clothes and jewelry. I’m trying to find a balance where I purchase more of the things that are good for me (like more fruits or fitness equipment) rather then things I have too much of like clothes and it is working to a certain extent but not entirely. Work in progress! I definitely didn’t need to buy polka dot jeans this month.

As for the products I used up, I’m happy to report I’m getting closer to finishing up quite a few makeup products. It takes months to a year to finish makeup so I’m really proud of my progress. Yay! Hopefully you will see these products in next months post.

The products I finished up this September:

  1. Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser
  2. Coola Sport SPF 35 Citrus Mimosa Sunblock

Hi Rebecca! You changed your blog theme! I love it! I love your “living minimally” mantra. I think the last time I commented in your blog was about you donating or giving away some of your stuff. I forgot exactly. But I follow you in Bloglovin’ and I hardly check back in this community. I’ll follow you on your FB Fan Page because I’m always on there. LOL! I love that you are on Youtube now. I’m kinda shy in using that media.

I just started a second blog, a finance blog. “Living minimally” is what I would like my readers to do and HOW I WOULD LIKE TO LIVE LIFE. It’s less stressful and less complicated and less expensive and less spending and less everything, LOL!

Keep up the great work here. I’ll definitely check back once in a while. xoxo
