How-To: The Fishtail Braid

September 7, 2012

in Beauty, Videos

When I posted the above photo on my Instagram I got several requests for a tutorial. It’s much simpler then it looks! If you use larger pieces and have speedy hands it could be done in two minutes but if you take smaller pieces it can take at most five minutes. It took me awhile to get used to it but once I got the hand of it this style became my go-to for misbehaving hair days.

All you need:

  1. Wax, gel, or pomade if your hair is too soft and has trouble staying in braids.
  2. Two hair bands.
  3. A few minutes!

Let me know what you thought of this tutorial. If you have an questions or requests, let me know!
