Good evening everyone! Do you like what you see? If you remember, last year I got a new blog design from The Pixel Boutique.  I loved the design and kept it when I moved to WordPress. Lately, I’ve felt like it needed something different though.

So, I hired The Wonder Forest to add on a few things to the site to match my former design. She did an amazing job and made my new social media buttons, blog button, and header design. We emailed back and forth a few times until I got exactly what I wanted. I installed all the brand spanking new items this afternoon.

Then, since I’m a silly person, I missed my old banner. I know. What the heck? So, in a moment of genius (ha), I decided to combine my old banner and my new banner using pixlr.com. Now you have the beauty you see above! Do you like it? 

It didn’t end there though. I started re-arranging things like the order of my sidebar, editing my footer (the bottom of my blog), re-writing my “about me” page, changing my navigation menu, and I ended up making my little welcome blurb on the right hand side. Pretty spiffy for a non-designer if I say so myself. I was being nit-picky about everything for about four hours. Time flies when you’re obsessive! 

I still hate my navigation menu. It isn’t…. I don’t know. I’ll probably be playing around with that forever.
