I swore off of makeup for one month… WHAT WAS I THINKING?! This challenge has proven more difficult then I thought. I’m on day eight (ten by the time you see this post, hehe pre-blogging!) and really sweating it. What I’ve missed the most so far is filling in my brows.
As life would have it, these beauties showed up on my door step and I can’t play with them! Sad face. Definitely the first thing I’m grabbing in June.
I was surprised with a bag full of Laura Geller makeup! It was wrapped in that cute heart tissue paper. This makeup was a gift from a PR company I work with and boy was I surprised! Usually they email me, sharing some things I may like, but this just showed up with no notice! What a crazy random happenstance.
Products shown:
Makeup bag (only available in a QVC set)
Spackle Tinted Under Make-Up Primer, Bronze
Baked Body Frosting
Waterproof Eye Spackle Hues, Pink Primadonna & Mauve Majesty
Baked Eye Shadow Palette, Sandbar
Bright Lips, Big City Collection
Wow Factor All In One Mascara
I’m already using the makeup bag in my purse to store some essentials. Once I can wear makeup, I plan on grabbing that mascara. I haven’t opened it yet because I don’t want to accumulate bacteria in the tube when I’m not even using it. I’m not sure how much I’ll use the two bronzing products since I’m actually particularly found of my fair complexion but I’ll give them a shot. The bronzing primer may be good to mix a small amount into my foundation as a way to subtly deepen my color without being much darker.
If you don’t know much about Laura Geller, her entire brand is based on the idea of Beauty Ingenuity. The majority of her products are multifunctional and they are cruelty-free. You can read more about Laura Geller here.

I just wanted to give my skin and lashes a break. My eyelashes have been very brittle lately from excessive mascara use. It’s also good to put more perspective on why you rely on it so much and being more confident in your bare skin, etc.
